This year’s Marine Autonomy & Technology Showcase (MATS) in-person event takes place from 5-7 November at the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) with the NOC operated research vessel RRS James Cook due to be alongside.
This year’s event will feature an elite programme of exhibits, presentations, panel discussions and networking, offering a unique and valuable opportunity to discover the latest developments in marine autonomous technology and how this field is set to develop in the years to come. MATS also provides a platform for organisations to engage directly with NOC to explore opportunities around funding, sharing ideas and getting those ideas in front of influential, high-profile users from the marine and maritime sector.
Keynote speakers:
- Conrad Humphreys, who will bring his unique inspirational insight as a yachtsman, business owner, adventurer and explorer
- NOC chief executive Dr John Siddorn, who will outline his vision for NOC
- Dr Katherine Hill, Lead Scientist on NERC’s Future Marine Research Infrastructure (FMRI) programme
