Maritime UK Solent is delighted to partner with WISTA UK Solent (Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association) on a series of networking events for our fantastic communities of women working in maritime in the Solent area. Male colleagues are of course welcome to attend with you.
To highlight International Day for Women in Maritime 2025 on 18 May, this event on 20 May includes a panel discussion around the journeys of some of our women in the industry and also the skills needed to retain women on career paths within the industry.

The event is also an opportunity to showcase the Women’s networks at Carnival House (WON, Athena, Nurture), CLIA and Maritime UK Solent.
WISTA UK Solent promotes diversity in the maritime, trading and logistics sectors, empowering women to lead through their unique perspective and competencies, with the conviction that gender diversity is key in providing a sustainable future for the shipping industry internationally.
This networking event is sponsored by Carnival UK and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and is being held at Carnival House in Southampton.
