Apply to be Maritime UK Solent’s Charity of the Year 2024 – 2025
We would like to invite maritime and marine-related charity organisations based in the Solent region, to apply to become our Charity of the Year. Follow in the footsteps of Wetwheels (2022 – 2023) and Portsmouth Sail Training Trust (2023 – 2024) and let us work with you to help promote the work that you do
APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED
The chosen charity will receive a large amount of promotional support, including:
- Press release announcing them as the charity partner
- Social media messaging throughout the year
- An online magazine article to over 1,000 Maritime UK Solent members
- A presentation spot at the Finalist Celebration event on 17 September
At the Maritime UK Solent Awards 2024, taking place on 17 October, the winning charity partner will receive:
- Two free tickets for the event
- The opportunity to give a presentation about their work to guests
- A premade film to be shown about them and their work
- An opportunity for charity envelopes to be left at each setting for cash collections
- A QR code on the event brochure to take people to a website where they can donate to the charity
After the event, the charity will be regularly promoted through our communications channels.
