Start-up of the Year
This award is for businesses that:
• Have started to trade no earlier than three years from the date of entry.
• Are‘independently owned’. This is defined as a business that is substantially owned by its founders and/or a group of independent investors, is not quoted on the stock market or any other stock market; and is not a subsidiary or associated company of another business.
• Are a maritime business, or in the supply chain, and based in the Solent.

Congratulations to Anchoright, winner of the Start-up of the Year Award!
Having started with a limited range of products, Anchoright now provide products manufactured in Hampshire, packed in Poole and sent all over the world in four different languages. The company is rapidly building a reputation for high quality products, made in the UK and about to expand into a new office
providing room for additional staff and manufacturing capabilities.
This winner demonstrated how their innovation has made a difference to the sector, with a solution, that started small and is growing exponentially.
As a result they have made a significant impact in the region and are now entering the global stage.
