Maritime UK Solent is formally launching this year’s Awards at Seawork 2024.
Sign up for this annual 3-day maritime conference for free and join our launch event to hear all about the Maritime UK Solent Awards. Come and find out why this annual celebration of the region’s finest maritime organisations, projects and people is so important for putting us all on the global stage.
Network members and delegates are invited to hear previous winners, including Don Millar from Just Be Maritime, Start-Up for the Year winners in 2023. He, and others will describe the benefits and positive experiences that have come, beyond the simple prestige of being a winner.
We will also hear from Portsmouth Sail Training Trust, our Charity of the Year, who will describe how being associated with Maritime UK Solent in the last year has furthered their work supporting disadvantaged young people.
During the event we will formally open applications from Solent-based, maritime related charities, where they are invited to apply to become Maritime UK Solent’s Charity of the Year for 2024/2025 – the closing date for charity applications is 16 July 2024.
We will also be opening the application process for the Awards – the closing date for applications is 22 July 2024.
